Well, the time has finally come. I have retired from full-time consulting. I had maintained two blogs, one for general IT subjects: the other for programming with a focus on Visual Basic. I am now combining them into a single blog. I was already drifting this way with one agricultural post and some info on Ford APIM upgrades. I guess I have gotten too lazy to maintain two and this also allows me to add some other subjects like model railroading. So, this is the new “IT engineering, programming, farming, bee keeping, gardening, model railroading (and anything else that comes up) with the occasional added opinion” blog. Messy but it is what it is.
It does tie together a little since Model railroading has become very computer-centric in both design and control. If I do any automation, I guarantee I will be programming in some language to do it.
